After 6 times of organizing the Press Awards with the theme of each year, it is an opportunity and a condition for journalists, reporters, and collaborators to promote their abilities, improve their expertise in each work and bring readers quality press works.
With 6 times, the Press Award "For a development Hai Phong" has received the participation of over 1,200 press works and hundreds of journalists and reporters, which confirmed the prestige of the tournament. Quality, the number of works participating in the press award has been improved, with many reports on newspaper printing, newspaper, newspaper, many products are electronic newspaper works in the form of photo reports, long articles and large content capacity presented beautifully, elaborately in all areas of life ... highlighting the innovations, strong rising, affirming the position and stature of Hai Phong City.
In 2025, towards the 70th Anniversary of Hai Phong Liberation Day and the 2025 Red Phuong Flower Festival; 100th Anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925-June 21, 2025), the 7th "For a Developed Hai Phong" Press Award will be held with the aim of creating opportunities and conditions for press agencies to have quality press works, discover topics, contribute enthusiastic opinions to contribute to building the city's development, strive to become a leading economic center in the Northern and Southeast Asian region, and be one of the leading cities in sustainable seaports, industry, logistics and tourism.
This year's "Hai Phong development" press award has chosen the topic "Hai Phong - Friendly City" with the desire to receive many press works towards the content of the city's efforts with friendly and open governments for organizations, businesses and people; Healthy, airy, safe and convenient environment for investors, FDI enterprises to learn, invest, is a friendly and safe destination for domestic and international tourists,
Participants in the press tournament are Vietnamese citizens with press works published and distributed on the media by competent agencies licensed the press activities and in accordance with the rules. The attendant did not violate the professional ethics of the Vietnamese journalist, did not violate the Press Law and other current laws.
The press works participating in the award ceremony are works published and distributed from January 1, 2025 to October 30, 2025. The deadline for receiving works is November 5, 2025.
The prize structure consists of 19 prizes, including 2 A prizes (each prize of 30,000,000 VND), 3 B prizes (each prize of 15,000,000 VND), 4 C prizes (7,000,000 VND) and 10 consolation prizes (3,000,000 VND).
