Special issuance of stamp set to celebrate 100 years of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day

The stamp set is a gift of deep gratitude to generations of Vietnamese newspapers who have always strived, devoted themselves, served the Fatherland, and the people.

On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day, the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Vietnam Journalists Association, and Vietnam Post Corporation jointly organized a special issuance ceremony for the Postmark "Celebrating the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (1925-2025)". The event was organized within the framework of the activities of the National Newspaper Association in 2025, jointly organized by the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee, the Vietnam Journalists Association, and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

The stamp set "Celebrating the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (1925-2025)" includes 01 model with a face value of 4,000 VND, with a frame of 43 x 32 mm designed by artist Nguyen Du (Vietnam Post Corporation).

With a modern, concise graphic design style, harmonious layout, the stamp set deeply expresses the meaning of the connection between tradition and modernity, gratitude for the past, and looking towards the future. The central image of the stamp is the red flag with a yellow star flying along with the portrait of President Ho Chi Minh - The Great Teacher of the Vietnamese Revolutionary Press. The image of the flag-raising staff is a pen - a symbol of the journalism profession, cleverly combined with characters in the two-phase system (0 and 1) showing the sharpness and innovation, especially the strong digital transformation process of the Vietnamese revolutionary press that is catching up with the development of the times. In addition, the stamp model also shows typical newspapers associated with each revolutionary period such as: Thanh Nien newspaper, Nhan Dan newspaper, Communist magazine to highlight the depth of the tradition and development of Vietnamese revolutionary journalism.

The stamp set is not only a postal product but also a spiritual symbol to encourage and motivate journalists in performing political tasks and developing modern and humane journalism. At the same time, this is also a gift of deep gratitude to generations of Vietnamese journalists who always strive, devote themselves to serving the Fatherland and the people.

The stamp set "Celebrating the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (1925-2025)" is provided on the public postal network maintained and managed by Vietnam Post Office from June 19, 2025 to December 31, 2026.
