According to the Traffic Police Department of Ha Tinh Provincial Police, in the early morning of June 14, while patrolling and controlling on the Ho Chi Minh road section passing through Huong Khe commune, the traffic police team checked a truck driver traveling in the direction of Quang Tri - Ha Tinh.
Through a quick drug test, the driver tested positive for Amphetamine (synthetic drugs). After that, functional forces took the driver to a medical facility to take samples for testing.
Test results continued to confirm that this person tested positive for Amphetamine.
Next, the working group inspected a tractor-trailer circulating on the Ho Chi Minh road and discovered that the driver was positive for Amphetamine. Test results at the medical facility also determined that the driver was positive for drugs.
Currently, the traffic police force is coordinating with functional units to complete the dossier for handling according to the provisions of law.
