Implementing Plan No. 146/KH-UBND of Chuong My Ward People's Committee (Hanoi) on military service registration (NVQS), reserve soldiers, reserve technical vehicles and militia and self-defense forces in 2026, from April 17 to 19, 2026, the Military Command of Chuong My Ward organized the deployment of registration work for subjects according to regulations.
The work is carried out seriously, synchronously, ensuring the correct procedures, progress and requirements set out.
According to statistics, Chuong My ward has 1,836 registered citizens, including 791 male citizens aged 17 years old who registered for military service for the first time; 24 female citizens with professional and technical qualifications; and 1,021 citizens of militia and self-defense registration age.
This is an important resource to build strong local armed forces, meeting the requirements of national defense tasks in the new situation.

During the organization process, citizens were guided to fully implement the steps according to regulations such as: Preliminary physical fitness check and assessment; review and compare personal information; supplement and complete applications for first-time military service registration and registration into the militia and self-defense forces.
The organizational process is scientifically and strictly implemented, ensuring "correct, sufficient, and clean" data, effectively serving the management of readiness for military service and building reserve forces.
The coordination between the Ward Military Command and residential groups is effectively implemented. The force of officials directly guides and promptly answers problems, creating favorable conditions for citizens to fulfill their obligations.
Previously, residential groups proactively reviewed sources, issued registration calls to each household, and at the same time promoted propaganda and mobilization to raise awareness and responsibility of citizens and families.
At the end of the registration period, the entire Chuong My ward had 1,783 citizens come to register, reaching a rate of 97.1%.
Some cases have not participated because they are studying or working far from the locality or temporarily living elsewhere; The Ward Military Command will continue to review and coordinate with relevant localities to guide citizens to register in accordance with the law.
The completion of military service registration, reserve soldiers, reserve technical vehicles and militia and self-defense forces in 2026 not only ensures the management requirements of citizens of enlistment age, but also demonstrates the close leadership and direction of Party committees and local authorities; the core role of military agencies and the close coordination of the entire political system. Thereby contributing to improving the quality of building strong local armed forces, meeting the requirements of national defense and security tasks in the current period.
