On June 19, the District Party Committee, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tan Binh District held a conference to evaluate the results of activities and summarize emulation movements. The conference is an opportunity to look back on the achievements, especially in the context that the district is preparing to enter a new administrative phase with 6 wards merged from July 1, 2025.
Reporting at the conference, Mr. Doan Van Du, Vice Chairman of Tan Binh District People's Committee, said that in 2024 and the first 6 months of 2025, with the spirit of solidarity and effort, Tan Binh District has basically completed most of the socio-economic development targets, even some targets exceeded the plan.
The district also focuses on urban beautification, completing key projects and works according to the resolution of the District Party Congress. Speaking at the Conference, Mr. Le Hoang Ha, Secretary of the Tan Binh District Party Committee, was moved to review the efforts of the Tan Binh District - from the difficult early days to a dynamic, civilized and humane urban development.
Mr. Ha emphasized the motto "taking service of the people as the center", demonstrated through the district's gradual construction of a modern and effective administrative system. The district also focuses on economic development in the direction of trade - services and industrial production, handicrafts; focusing on infrastructure renovation, urban beautification; ensuring social security and improving the quality of life of people. Movements such as "For the Poor", "Forever gratitude", "All people unite to build a cultural life" have spread strongly, arousing the strength of the community.
"From July 1, 2025, when the administrative name of Tan Binh District officially expires to open a new organizational model, with 6 new wards; but the glorious tradition, solidarity, and affection, the precious values of Tan Binh District will forever be in the minds and actions of each cadre, civil servant, and resident of Tan Binh District," said Mr. Le Hoang Ha.
