Opening ceremony of the "Red Journey" program and honoring typical voluntary blood donors in 2026 organized by the Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation Mobilization of Quang Ninh province.
More than 1,000 officers, soldiers of the armed forces, workers, volunteers and people attended the opening ceremony and directly donated blood at the program.

At the opening ceremony, the Organizing Committee commended and honored 16 families and 19 individuals with outstanding achievements in the voluntary blood donation movement in the province.
The program "Red Journey - Connecting Vietnamese Blood" was first organized in 2013. In 2026, the program entered its 14th year and became one of the voluntary blood donation activities organized nationwide.
Responding to the program, Quang Ninh implemented "Dat Mo Pink Drop" and organized local activities with names such as "Border Pink Drop", "Sea and Island Pink Drop", "Trade Port Pink Drop", "Ha Long Pink Drop", "Bach Dang Pink Drop"...
Through these activities, Quang Ninh province aims to supplement blood sources for emergency, treatment and raise community awareness about voluntary blood donation.
At the program, the Organizing Committee received 883 units of blood, 31 people registered to donate organs and tissues.
In 2026, Quang Ninh strives to receive about 25,000 units of blood and maintain a minimum rate of 1.8% of the population in the area participating in voluntary blood donation annually.
