On the afternoon of May 25, authorized by the Executive Committee (EC) of the Central Youth Union, Comrade Nguyen Viet Hai Dang - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Chairman of the Ha Tinh Provincial Youth Union Council awarded the "Brave Youth" Badge, certificate of merit from the EC of the Central Youth Union to Chu Van Tuan Vu (9C class, Cam Duong Secondary School, Yen Hoa commune) for his brave act of rescuing a drowning person.
Previously, at about 5:30 pm on May 15, at Rang Dong beach, Yen Hoa commune, Chu Van Tuan Vu was swimming when he discovered 2 young children being swept away by large waves in a very dangerous situation. He quickly rushed out to sea to rescue people and bring the 2 young children ashore safely.
The courageous action of Chu Van Tuan Vu has contributed to spreading the beautiful living spirit of youth, clearly demonstrating the campaign "Each week a beautiful story, a good book, a bright example" of Ha Tinh youth and children.
