Lang Son - Propaganda activities in Nhan Ly commune help students and parents raise awareness and equip themselves with skills to prevent drowning and injuries.

Implementing the Youth Union work program and youth and children's movement in 2026, and at the same time strengthening solutions to reduce drowning accidents in children, on April 13, the Executive Committee of Nhan Ly Commune Youth Union (Lang Son province) coordinated with Nhan Ly Primary School to organize propaganda activities on preventing and combating drowning and injuries for students in the area.

The program is organized with many practical contents, aiming to equip children with knowledge and skills to handle situations in the summer - a time of high risk of accidents.

Here, students participate in extracurricular activities, listen to visual and vivid propaganda about the causes and consequences of drowning accidents, as well as preventive measures suitable to the actual conditions in the locality.

In addition, quizzes and Q&A sessions on drowning prevention skills attracted the enthusiastic participation of students, contributing to helping them memorize knowledge naturally and easily.

Through this form of interaction, many children have grasped how to recognize dangerous areas, cries for help skills, as well as safety principles when participating in activities near rivers, streams, ponds and lakes.

Not only stopping at propaganda work, the program also shows concern for students in difficult circumstances.

The organizing committee presented 10 gifts, of which the Nhan Ly Commune Youth Union and Nhan Ly Elementary School each presented 5 gifts, to encourage the spirit and add motivation for the children to rise up in their studies and life.

Representatives of the Executive Committee of the Nhan Ly Commune Youth Union said that raising awareness and equipping children with drowning prevention skills is an urgent task, especially in mountainous areas, where there are many risks of accidents due to complex natural conditions.

In the coming time, the unit will continue to coordinate with schools, families and related organizations to maintain and replicate propaganda activities, contributing to protecting the safety of children.

Through the program, not only students but also parents are raised awareness and understand more about the dangers of drowning accidents, thereby proactively monitoring and guiding children on necessary skills.

This is one of the important solutions to minimize unfortunate accidents and ensure a safe living environment for children in the area.
