Fishing boat stranded, lying still right at Lam Dong estuary after a night of going out to sea and returning

Lam Dong - The authorities coordinated to support the fishing boat that ran aground when entering the estuary, 100m from shore.

On the afternoon of September 2, Tan Thang Border Guard Station under the Border Guard Command of Lam Dong province said that the unit is continuing to make efforts to support fishing boats stranded at Ha Lang estuary in Son My commune.

Earlier, on the same morning, the fishing boat with registration number BTh 81427TS owned and captained by Mr. N.V.P (born in 1991, residing in Ha Lang village, Son My commune), after a night of fishing returned to Ha Lang estuary and ran aground.

This location is about 100m from the shore. The fishing boat is over 8m long, 40CV capacity, fishing with a net and has 5 workers on board.

Upon receiving the information, Tan Thang Border Guard Station sent 15 officers and soldiers to the scene, coordinating with local forces to support and ensure the safety of fishing vessels.

The forces have built ditches and towed the ship to prevent it from being hit by waves.

It is expected that tonight, when the tide rises, the forces and fishermen will join forces to move the fishing boats out of the stranded location.
