According to the report of the Traffic Safety Committee of Thai Nguyen province, in October 2025, there were 65 road traffic accidents in the whole province, causing 15 deaths and 63 injuries. An increase of 10 cases compared to the same period in 2024.
The accidents caused damage to 39 cars, 73 motorbikes, and motorbikes, estimated at over 600 million VND. Compared to the previous month, there was a decrease of 11 cars, an increase of 8 motorbikes and scooters, and a decrease of 296.9 million VND in damage.
In the first 10 months of 2025, the whole province had 535 traffic accidents (534 road accidents, 1 railway accident). Accidents caused 105 deaths and 554 injuries; compared to the same period in 2024, there were 66 fewer cases (down 11%), 4 fewer deaths (down 3.67%), and 52 fewer injuries (down 8.6%).
The authorities have increased inspection and handling of violations. Through inspection, on the road, the authorities discovered a total of 7,179 violations and recorded 412 cases of receiving fines.
There were 1,077 cases of driver's license points being deducted; 235 cases of driver's license being revoked. The authorities have temporarily detained 115 cars; 1,447 motorbikes and 4 other vehicles.
