At around 0:00 on October 25, on the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet highway, km144 through Tuy Phong commune, Binh Thuan province, a traffic accident occurred between a sleeper bus and a tractor-trailer.
The accident occurred on the South - North road, about 10km from Vinh Hao intersection. At that time, a sleeper bus with license plate 50H-727.XX was traveling when it suddenly collided strongly with the rear of a tractor-trailer traveling in the same direction ahead.

The collision caused the front of the passenger bus to stick tightly to the rear of the tractor-trailer, the driver of the passenger bus was stuck in the cabin. The rescue team had to use a crane to help the driver out, but luckily only suffered minor scratches.
Immediately after the accident, Highway Traffic Control Patrol Team No. 6 (Department 6, Traffic Police Department) and the route management unit were present to remotely divert traffic, regulate traffic and handle the scene.

Vehicles traveling in the South - North direction are instructed to temporarily leave the expressway at Cho Lau intersection to ensure safety and serve the repair work.

Previously, at around 11pm on October 24, on the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay Expressway, km33 South - North, through Tan Minh Commune (Lam Dong Province), a collision also occurred between two trucks traveling in the same direction. The incident caused prolonged traffic congestion, forcing vehicles to wait in line to pass through the area.
The Highway Traffic Control Patrol Team No. 6 quickly arrived to handle the scene and regulate traffic, helping traffic return to normal afterwards.
