Mr. Nguyen Cuu Thanh (33 years old, residing in Quang Tri commune, Da Huoai district, Lam Dong) almost lost his life when being dragged under a tractor-trailer.
The accident occurred at 4:15 p.m. on April 8, at the roundabout of Loc Thang town 5-way intersection (Bao Lam district, Lam Dong).
According to initial information, at that time, Mr. Thanh was driving a motorbike on Tran Phu Street, heading towards Provincial Road 725 to enter Loc Ngai Commune (Bao Lam District).
When reaching the roundabout, his motorbike collided with a tractor trailer 49H-03287 (driver's identity unknown), which was running parallel in the same direction and turned onto National Highway 20.
Due to the collision that occurred at a "blind spot", the driver could not observe and dragged the motorbike with Mr. Thanh many meters under the under the road.
The witness shouted to the driver to stop the car. Mr. Thanh was taken out of the car, luckily only suffered minor injuries to his leg and scratches on his face.
The victim was taken to the hospital for emergency treatment. The motorbike was damaged.
The cause of the accident is being investigated and clarified by the authorities.
