The accident occurred at around 7:00 p.m. on March 30, on National Highway 1, at km1717 + 300 through Ham Kiem commune, Ham Thuan Nam district, Binh Thuan province.
At that time, the motorbike with license plate 86B4-184.25 driven by Mr. L.D.V (born in 1990, residing in Ham Thuan Nam District) was traveling in the direction of Phan Thiet - Dong Nai.
When arriving at the above location, this motorbike hit the back of a tractor-trailer with license plate 86H-000.31 that was stopped in the same direction in front. The collision caused the motorbike's head to break down. Mr. V fell onto the road, lay motionless, and was bleeding profusely.
The victim was taken to the hospital by ambulance for emergency treatment but died.
The Investigation Police Agency of Binh Thuan Province Police and other professional units have examined the scene, determined the location of the parked vehicle and extracted camera footage to investigate the incident. At the same time, an autopsy was requested to clarify the cause of death.
The location of the accident was National Highway 1, near the entrance to Phan Thiet - Dau Giay Expressway, so some trucks often rushed to the roadside, stopping in front of coffee shops at this location to buy water before getting on the expressway.
