The People's Committee of Hai Duong province has just decided to reorganize the Provincial Center for the Suppression of the Mental Health of Meritorious People and Society. The center has the function of caring for mentally ill people, including meritorious people and social protection beneficiaries, focusing on rehabilitation and community reintegration. At the same time, the Center provides support and consultation services for the patient's family.
The center is a public service unit with regular operating funding guaranteed by the State, under the Department of Health of Hai Duong province.The center has legal status, has its own headquarters, seal and account at the State Treasury and banks according to the law.
The center is under the management, direction and inspection of the Department of Health and competent state agencies on organization, personnel, finance, facilities and professional activities.
The Center's headquarters is located on Tan Tien Street (Cong Hoa Ward, Chi Linh City, Hai Duong Province).The center has the function of receiving, managing, nurturing, caring for, treating, vocational training and rehabilitating the functions of people with severe mental illness, who are not self-reliant, have dangerous behaviors for their families and society, including people with meritorious services, relatives of meritorious people, social protection beneficiaries and voluntary mentally ill people.
The center consists of 3 departments, 7 specialized departments, performing the following tasks: Receiving, managing, caring for, treating, vocational training, rehabilitation; medical examination and treatment, organizing production labor; organizing cultural and sports activities; consulting and training for patients' families; supporting patients to reintegrate into the community; providing psychological support; participating in mental health care programs; implementing nursing regimes and policies related to meritorious people.
