On October 1, the Steering Committee for Crime Prevention and Control and the building of a movement for the entire people to protect national security in Ho Chi Minh City (Steering Committee 138 of Ho Chi Minh City) held a launching ceremony for the peak period of attacking and suppressing all types of crimes, and launched and replicated the operating models.
According to the plan, the program is organized in a direct combination online, at 4 main connecting points including: central facility (Cau Ong Lanh ward); facility 1 (Thu Dau Mot ward); facility 2 (Ba Ria ward) and Con Dao special zone. Thereby, summarizing the development and pilot implementation of the "SOS Security and Order" model in Tan Phu and Phu My wards; reporting on the application "SOS Security and Order of Ho Chi Minh City Police". Introduce and launch the model "3 in 1: Listen - Propaganda - Support People". At the same time, deploy a plan to ensure security and order of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term.
Attending the second facility, Lieutenant General Mai Hoang - Director of Ho Chi Minh City Police, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Steering Committee 138 - suggested that during the implementation process, professional departments and the Commune, Ward and Special Zone Police must grasp the process and proficiently use the system and application of "SOS security and order of Ho Chi Minh City Police"; each officer participating in the "Working Group 3 in 1" must be a skillful mass mobilization officer.
At the same time, it is recommended that the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City direct member organizations to promote their core role in propagating and mobilizing union members, association members and people of all walks of life to actively respond to the peak period; actively participate in the above models; closely coordinate with the police force and local authorities so that the models can effectively carry out their tasks of supporting the people. Thereby, improving the effectiveness of social prevention work, minimizing the risk of crime.
In commune-level localities, heads of Party committees and authorities need to directly direct to effectively implement the peak period and the operation of the two models in the management area.
On this occasion, the Working Groups of the Steering Committee 138 of Ho Chi Minh City and the wards and communes organized a delegation to visit, encourage and give gifts to families in difficult circumstances in Ba Ria, Long Huong, Tam Long wards and Long Dien and Long Son communes.
