On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2, the Ho Chi Minh City Public Transport Management Center organized a program to present 20,000 national flags to bus passengers to spread the spirit of patriotism and honor historical values and national traditions.
According to information from the Ho Chi Minh City Public Transport Management Center, the program will take place on September 2, 2025 and last until the number of allocated flags is exhausted.
All passengers traveling on Ho Chi Minh City bus routes on this day will receive a national flag, handed over by the driver or bus service staff. Flags will be solemnly placed on the bus, making it easy for passengers to receive and store memories during this important holiday.
Transport units participating in the program are required to ensure that the flag is handed over to passengers and absolutely not let the flag tear, damage or fall onto the floor, showing respect for the National Flag.
The awarding of the national flag on the occasion of National Day September 2 is an initiative of the Ho Chi Minh City Public Transport Management Center, aiming to contribute to building a civilized and modern city, where historical and traditional values are always respected and preserved.
In addition, the Center also launched a free bus and metro ticket program during the September 2 holiday to thank people and encourage the use of public transport.
This is a meaningful activity, emphasizing the role of the community in maintaining national pride. The national flags are not only material gifts, but also reminders of historical values and the spirit of national unity.
