On August 22, at Mien Tay University of Civil Engineering, the Standing Committee of Vinh Long Provincial Youth Union organized a summary and award ceremony for the Songwriting Contest about Vinh Long Youth Union and Young People and the Digital Content Creativity Contest "Vinh Long in Me".
Attending the program were Mr. Bui Van Han Em - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; Mr. Phan Thanh Tre - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Student Association, along with representatives of departments, branches, companion units and a large number of union members and youth.
The two contests are implemented to promote the pioneering spirit, creativity, the ability to apply digital technology and the love of homeland of young people; and at the same time select cultural, artistic, and media works to contribute to promoting the image of Vinh Long land and people.
For the Songwriting Contest about Vinh Long Youth Union, the Organizing Committee awarded the First Prize to author Pham Van Liet - Secretary of the Youth Union of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the province, with the song "Going to Vinh Long Youth".
The Organizing Committee also awarded 2 Second Prizes, 2 Third Prizes, and 6 Consolation Prizes to authors and groups of authors with excellent musical works; and awarded prizes to units with the most participating works.
In the digital content creation contest "Vinh Long in Me", the first prize belonged to the author group Doan Khoi Nguyen, Nguyen Tuong Vi, Tran Phuong Nam - Vinh Long Newspaper and Radio and Television Youth Union, with the work "Vinh Long, a place of a hundred years of prosperity".
The Organizing Committee awarded 2 second prizes, 2 third prizes, 9 consolation prizes for creative and emotional digital content works; and prizes for units with many products participating in the contest.
According to the Organizing Committee, the success of the two competitions is not only reflected in the awards, but also contributes to arousing the pride of the homeland, the desire to contribute and the spirit of mastering technology among Vinh Long union members and youth.
The awarded songs and digital media products will continue to spread the image of Vinh Long's homeland and people, while also showing the dynamic, creative, and pioneering spirit of youth in the new period.
