The drill activity with a simulated situation of a subject carrying a homemade bomb to Can Tho International Airport with the aim of terrorist attacks, causing casualties, destroying facilities, key projects, disrupting exploitation activities, and creating a resonance to gather forces for subsequent sabotage plans.
Under the direction of the Emergency Command of Can Tho International Airport, the Aviation Security Team closely coordinated with relevant forces to quickly handle the situation, control and arrest the subjects, ensuring security and safety for flight operations.
The drill activities were deployed seriously, practically, professionally, closely following the actual situation. Through this, focusing on improving command capabilities, coordinating to handle situations, and being ready to effectively respond to complex incidents arising, contributing to ensuring absolute aviation security and safety at Can Tho International Airport.
Senior Lieutenant Colonel Vo Duc Tay - Deputy Director of the National Aviation Security Center proposed that the Aviation Security Force of Can Tho City Police promote its pioneering role and spirit of being ready to perform tasks, especially after the Law on Civil Aviation takes effect.
Colonel Huynh Hoai Han - Deputy Director of the City Police, Head of the emergency security board of Can Tho International Airport praised the spirit of responsibility of the Party Committee and leaders of the Immigration Management Department in implementing the plan.
In the coming time, the Deputy Director requested that the Aviation Security force seriously grasp the directions and orientations of the leaders of the National Aviation Security Center, complete the annual aviation security program, and ensure closeness to the actual situation.
