The launching ceremony of planting trees to remember Uncle Ho took place at An Son Cultural Center, Hung Tho neighborhood, Thuan An ward, Ho Chi Minh City.
According to Mr. Nguyen Thanh Son - Chairman of Thuan An Ward People's Committee, the locality is favored by nature with a system of rivers, lush green fruit orchards and many unique cultural and historical values. In which, mangosteen gardens have long become a unique feature of the locality, associated with the daily life and culture of the people here.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Son said that the construction and launch of the "Mangosteen Garden Remembering Uncle Ho" model not only has the meaning of creating more green space, improving the ecological environment but also contributes to preserving and conserving the unique values of the Thuan An orchard for future generations.
At the program, delegates together planted hundreds of fruit trees, the most of which is mangosteen. Also at the program, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thuan An ward also organized the presentation of dozens of gifts to workers and households in difficult circumstances in the area.
