On the evening of July 25, 2025, on National Highway 18 through Quang Duc Commune, Quang Ninh Province, a group of teenagers carrying weapons, driving a motorbike at high speed threw a glass bottle at a pedestrian, causing serious injuries.
After committing the crime, the group immediately fled the scene.
Immediately after receiving the report, Quang Duc Commune Police quickly deployed forces to investigate and coordinate with local authorities to verify and clarify the related subjects.
According to initial investigation results, this group consisted of 14 teenagers, aged 15 to 23, residing in the two communes of Quang Duc and Quang Ha. The subjects confessed that they had previously had a conflict with another group of young men, so they took weapons such as baseball bars, Cons, plow sticks and glass bottles, divided into 6 motorbikes to go looking for their opponents.
When arriving at National Highway 18 in Quang Ha commune, the group encountered 3 motorbikes traveling in the same direction, doing a cross-traffic overturn. mistakenly thought to be a group of conflicts, the subjects chased and threw glass bottles, seriously injuring one person in the head. After committing the crime, the group quickly escaped.
Currently, Quang Duc Commune Police are coordinating with the Criminal Police Department of Quang Ninh Provincial Police to continue investigating and consolidating records to strictly handle the subjects according to the provisions of the law.
