On June 14, in Bac Ha commune, Lao Cai province, the Bac Ha Commune Youth Union in coordination with the Volunteer Youth Union of the "Sewing Seeds - THESEEDPROJECT" project organized a meeting, exchange and donation program for the youth project "Learning Corner for Children, Nurturing Knowledge".
Attending the program were comrade Ha Duc Hai - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Federation of Lao Cai province; along with leaders of the Party Committee, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Ha commune and a large number of local union members and youth.
With the desire to create better learning conditions for students in remote areas with difficult circumstances, the Organizing Committee awarded 4 learning corners to 4 students in Na Hoi village.
Each study corner includes study tables and chairs, bookshelves and learning lamps to protect vision, contributing to helping children have a convenient study space, arousing the spirit of overcoming difficulties and striving in learning.
In addition, the program also presented 150 gifts including necessities, clothes, books, pens and many practical school supplies to students in Na Hoi village.
Although the gifts are not large, they contain the concern and sharing of organizations, individuals and volunteers for children in mountainous areas.
Within the framework of the program, volunteers also organized communication English classes, life skills guidance, drowning prevention propaganda and equipping social skills for about 150 local youth.
The activities are designed to be lively, suitable for the age group, creating a useful learning and experiential environment during the summer.
The program not only brings material gifts but also contributes to spreading the spirit of mutual affection, arousing the responsibility of youth in caring for and supporting children in difficult circumstances.
The total resources mobilized and donated at the program reached nearly 40 million VND.
Through practical activities, Lao Cai youth continue to affirm their role in accompanying young people in learning, training and comprehensive development, contributing to creating conditions for them to confidently rise up, nurture dreams and conquer knowledge.
