In mid-May, on the fields of Khe Ngang village, Yen Thanh commune, Lao Cai province, the green youth shirt stands out in the golden ripe rice season when local union members and youth together support Mr. Ban Van Truong's family to harvest rice.
Mr. Truong's family is in difficult circumstances, lacking labor, so harvesting is facing many obstacles.
Faced with that situation, Yen Thanh Commune Youth Union organized forces of union members to launch a campaign to support and help the family quickly harvest the rice area that has reached its peak ripening period.
Under the hot weather of the harvest season, youth union members still actively participate in cutting rice, transporting and collecting agricultural products.
The urgent and exciting working atmosphere in the fields has contributed to encouraging the family's spirit to overcome difficulties and reduce pressure during harvest time.
The activity aims to promote the pioneering and voluntary spirit of youth in social security activities, while strengthening the connection and sharing with local people.
