On July 24, Hoa Binh Commune People's Committee, Vinh Long province, Head of Exam Cluster No. 4, organized the Professional Fire Fighting and Rescue Contest for the 2026 Fire Prevention and Fighting Safety Joint Team.
The contest brings together 10 teams with 150 members from the communes of Hoa Binh, Ngai Tu, Tan Luoc, Song Phu, My Thuan, Hoa Hiep, Phu Quoi, Tam Binh, Tan Quoi and Cai Ngang.
This is the core force of the inter-family safety teams for fire prevention and fighting, directly participating in preventing and handling fire and explosion situations in residential areas, contributing to ensuring local safety.
The teams went through two parts of the competition including theory and practice. The content focused on legal regulations, knowledge of fire prevention and fighting, rescue, and handling of fire situations in houses combined with production and business.
In the practical part, the teams carried out firefighting, rescue and moving property according to professional procedures. Many teams demonstrated flexible coordination, quick handling of situations, and ensuring safety requirements.
At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee awarded team prizes including 1 First Prize, 1 Second Prize, 1 Third Prize and 5 Consolation Prizes. Theoretical and practical contents were also awarded to teams with excellent achievements.
The contest creates conditions for localities to exchange experiences, improve fire and explosion handling skills, rescue people, and property rescue. Thereby, continuing to promote the effectiveness of the safe fire prevention and fighting inter-family group model and the "4 on-the-spot" motto.
