On April 4, Coast Guard Region 4 Command mobilized dozens of officials and union members to participate in environmental sanitation, contributing to embellishing the urban area "Green - clean - beautiful" in the Phu Quoc special zone (An Giang).
From early morning, officials and youth union members of the unit organized to collect waste on the Suoi Lon - Duong To neighborhood road; swept and cleaned the road surface to create a green, clean, and beautiful landscape, collected tons of waste of all kinds, cleaned more than 2 km of road surface, contributing to creating a bright and beautiful appearance for the special zone.
Participating in general environmental sanitation to raise awareness and the role and responsibility of each official and union member in protecting the living environment with the motto "For a cleaner and greener special zone", joining hands to fight climate change.
This activity contributes to environmental protection, maintaining urban beauty in Ngoc Island, thereby further fostering and connecting military-civilian solidarity, showing the pioneering and voluntary spirit of officers and union members of Coast Guard Region 4 Command.
In the past time, Coast Guard Region 4 Command has regularly and actively participated in responding to "Phu Quoc Environment Day" with many practical and effective activities, especially the activities "Volunteer Saturday", "Green Sunday" maintained in a regular manner in agencies and units throughout the Region Command.
