On September 16, the image of a dump truck moving in the wrong direction at Dai Liet Si roundabout (intersection between Thi Sach - 3/2 - Le Hong Phong - Vo Thi Sau streets) in Vung Tau ward (HCMC) was posted on social media, causing a stir among people.
According to the recorded image, moving from the direction of 3/2 road to the roundabout, instead of hugging the roundabout to turn onto Thi Sach street, the dump truck with license plate 72H-004.xx suddenly turned left, going in the wrong direction to turn a section to Thi Sach street. Many vehicles were traveling suddenly and had to avoid this action of the driver.
People are upset that, although there has not been a collision, this behavior needs to be strictly handled because it poses many risks to causing traffic accidents. Currently, Traffic Police Team No. 2 (Traffic Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police) has grasped the information and is verifying the incident.
