Handling nearly 200 traffic violations in Quang Binh

Quang Binh - In 9 days, the provincial police handled 193 traffic violations, detained 129 vehicles, and expected to impose fines of over 970 million VND.

On February 2, the Traffic Police Department of Quang Binh province announced that during the 9-day Tet holiday (from January 25 to February 2), there were 5 traffic accidents in the province, killing 3 people and injuring 3 others. All 5 traffic accidents occurred on roads.

According to the Traffic Safety Committee of Quang Binh province, compared to the same period last year, the number of accidents did not increase, the number of deaths increased by 1.

The authorities mobilized the maximum number of troops, vehicles, and equipment, organized closed patrols and were on duty 24/7 in key areas; organized 408 patrols, and controlled the participation of 1,569 officers and soldiers.

Through patrol and control work, 193 violations were detected and handled, 129 vehicles (5 cars, 124 motorbikes) were temporarily detained; expected fines of over 970 million VND, driving licenses revoked for 5 cases.
