Through a period of monitoring and managing the area regarding the situation of e-commerce business activities on social networks, Market Management Team No. 19 discovered that Business Household V.T.P (Nguyen Van Ni Street, Cu Chi Town, Cu Chi District) was displaying and selling goods with signs of counterfeiting trademarks registered for protection in Vietnam.
The Captain of Market Management Team No. 19 issued an inspection decision and conducted an inspection of business household V.T.P.
As a result, the authorities imposed an administrative fine of VND10,000,000 on the business household V.T.P for displaying and selling 40 pairs of fake Nike sandals that had been registered for protection in Vietnam; the total value of the goods according to the listed price was VND6,000,000; at the same time, the business household V.T.P was forced to destroy all of the fake goods with the above-mentioned infringing trademark.
In the coming time, Market Management Team No. 19 will continue to carry out propaganda work to the people and implement the directives of the Ho Chi Minh City Market Management Department and the People's Committee of Cu Chi District on strengthening inspection, examination and handling of administrative violations in e-commerce activities. Further strengthen the management of the area to promptly detect and handle business cases in the e-commerce environment.
