It is known that the music short film project "Thi Phi" officially premiered in Hanoi, with singer Ngoc Khue taking on the role of Production Director. According to the female singer, "Thi Phi" is a musical short film with action comedy colors, exploiting the material of modern urban life where the boundary between real and fake, right and wrong, white and black becomes fragile.
The film uses music as a narrative medium throughout, combining cinematic elements to create a rich emotional experience and skillfully reflect society. The film's music is not only built like an independent EP - an "emotional universe" accompanying the story of the main character "Tiger Agent" played by singer Ngoc Khue.
In which, 3 songs represent 3 psychological slices, 3 stages of transformation in her life full of "gossip" - from choosing, facing, to giving up and finding peace.
Singer Ngoc Khe also revealed that since entering music, she has not introduced a true MV to the audience and fans. Therefore, the female singer has cherished the project for a long time and it took quite a long time to complete it.
Set in an old apartment complex in the heart of the city, "Thị Phi" also opens up a story about ordinary people but hidden behind are secrets that have never been named. Character lines intertwined, creating a multi-dimensional picture of modern society where "thị phi" is not just rumors, but also the consequence of choices, prejudices and hidden corners in each person.
The film also features the participation of a cast of veteran artists including: NSND Lan Huong, NSƯT Minh Vuong and NSƯT Do Ky, NSƯT Ho Phong and especially the participation of Ngoc Khue's son - baby Dino, who was only 4 months old at that time.
Besides, the music, sound design and sound effects with space sound technology are performed by producer - sound engineer Huy Ngo, Director of Flying Disc Entertainment.
