The art program "Vietnamese Flavors" with the theme "Honoring Vietnamese Culture in the Global Flow" is organized by the Association of Vietnamese People in Kansai region under the direction of the Vietnamese Consul General in Osaka (Japan).
This is also an opportunity to introduce the unique values of Vietnamese culture, art and heritage to Japanese friends and the international community, while contributing to strengthening understanding, connection and cooperation between the people of the two countries.

According to Ms. Le Thuong - Chairwoman of the Kansai Vietnamese Association - Head of the program organizing committee, culture is the thread connecting the Vietnamese community far from home with their roots, mother tongue and traditional values that have nurtured the national soul through thousands of years of history.
In the context of globalization, preserving Vietnamese cultural identity is not only meaningful for the Vietnamese community abroad, but also contributes to promoting the image of the country and people of Vietnam to international friends.

Attending the program, Professor - Honorary Doctor - World Record holder - artist Chu Bao Que expressed his honor and emotion when the Vietnamese Artists' Troupe was invited to perform in the program.
According to artist Chu Bao Que, Vietnamese cultural values such as Quan Ho folk songs, Dong Ho folk paintings and other traditional art forms are increasingly known and appreciated by the world, as evidence of the sustainable vitality of national culture.
Artist Chu Bao Que expressed his belief that the Vietnamese community in Japan will continue to be active cultural ambassadors, contributing to building a bridge of friendship between the two countries.

Within the framework of the program "Vietnamese Fragrance and Colors", the documentary film that won the Golden Lotus award at the 24th Vietnam Film Festival - 2025: "The Guardian of the Soul of Heritage" was also screened for Japanese audiences.
Vietnamese Flavors and Colors" also welcomes the "music messengers" of Japan with the performance of the traditional Japanese band Trainnovation. Traditional Japanese music is a unique cultural treasure, containing the spirit and national identity of the "land of the rising sun".
Vietnamese artists also brought unique art performances, imbued with national identity, sending love for the homeland and the breath of Vietnamese culture to overseas Vietnamese in Japan. And especially the Quan Ho ancient performance "Sitting leaning against the boat" with the participation of Professor, Honorary Doctor - World Record holder - artist Chu Bao Que.
On this occasion, the Association of Vietnamese People in the Kansai region also honored Prof. Dr. - artist Chu Bao Que for his contributions to promoting cultural and artistic exchange as well as strengthening friendship between the people of Vietnam and Japan.
Through art performances, cultural stories and exchange activities, the program "Vietnamese Flavors" contributes to arousing love for the homeland in the Vietnamese community in Japan, while helping international friends better understand a Vietnam rich in identity, tradition and always looking towards the future.
