Present at the exhibition "Colors of the Highlands" in 2026, in Moc Son ward, Son La province, held on May 10, we felt the culture of ethnic groups converge and shine on the white plateau.
The exhibition is taking place with the participation of Son La, Lai Chau, Dien Bien, Ninh Binh and Thanh Hoa provinces.

The exhibition brings a space imbued with the cultural identity of highland ethnic groups through many activities such as the photo exhibition "Beauty of the country - people of the highlands".
Here, the organizers displayed documents about President Ho Chi Minh and Party and State leaders with ethnic minorities. At the same time, beautiful photos of customs, traditional costumes, festivals, folk musical instruments and traditional handicrafts were introduced.
The highlight of the event is the "Highland Colors" display area with more than 20 product booths from provinces. This area introduces OCOP products, local specialties and traditional dishes such as bamboo rice, grilled fish, grilled meat, corn wine...
Many cultural exchange activities, folk dance festivals, and folk songs also attract a large number of people and tourists to participate and experience.

Notably, the Folk Dance Club Festival attracted 18 units with more than 200 actors from Son La, Dien Bien and Hanoi to participate.
The teams brought many folk dance performances, folk dances, synchronized performances and modern dances praising the homeland and country, while promoting the cultural identity of ethnic groups in the highlands.
Ms. Nguyen Hang Nga - Director of the Vietnam Center for Exhibitions of Culture and Arts said that the exhibition is an opportunity to promote the unique cultural values of ethnic minorities in mountainous areas, contributing to strengthening exchanges between localities and promoting tourism development.

Visiting the exhibition, Ms. Bui Thuy Duong shared: "The cultural space is very lively, with many interesting experiential activities. I am particularly impressed with the folk dance performances and the highland culinary display area. Through the exhibition, I understand more about the culture and people of the Northwest and North Central Highlands.
