Musician Nguyen Tran's Spring EP "Mua dong oi" marks a new turning point in his creative journey. Released right at Valentine's Day and the days leading up to Tet, the project does not follow the purely romantic love storytelling style, but delves into the inner movements when people grow up in emotions.
For Nguyen Tran, love is not just sweet moments, but also a journey to face loneliness, hurt, learn to speak out and learn to let go. "Valentine is often mentioned as the flower day and confessions of love. But for me, it is also an opportunity to look back at how I love, whether I really listen to the person next to me, or just superficial romance" - the male musician shared.
According to Nguyen Tran, sharing and communication are the most solid foundation of love because "Sometimes a timely saying can heal, but a long silence is enough to create distance. I want my music to touch those very real moments".

Nguyen Tran also shared that he seems to have never really had "affinity" with love on Valentine's Day. Loneliness in the seemingly most romantic moment makes him calm down more, remembering past loves and years that were once very passionate.
Winter, oh Winter" is therefore not only a story about a cold season, but also a record of memories. Those are beautiful memories, the days when we were immersed in love, both sweet and lingering. "There are things we want to keep forever, and there are things we know we need to let go. But everything, whether memorable or unforgettable, contributes to creating the person of the present" - musician Nguyen Tran said.
It is known that the EP includes 4 songs: "Winter"; "Winter Oh Winter"; "Words"; "New Year's". Among them, 2 songs about winter are released in 2 versions: Full band version full of energy and minimalist piano - guitar - vocal version, opening up 2 opposite emotional states: Overflowing and lingering, like two sides of the same relationship.
New Year's" asks questions about the sincerity behind New Year's greetings: Among greetings of happiness and peace, do we really care about each other's feelings? "Words" emphasize the power of words – when communicating is not just about exchanging information, but how people express hurt, desire and forgiveness.

The entire EP Spring "Winter, Oh Winter" is an inner journey when winter ends and spring begins - the moment people look back at and are most nostalgic. The title "Spring" has 2 levels of meaning: Spring - a symbol of rebirth; and "the spring" - representing inner strength and resilience. "For me, this is a self-reminiscence about the ability to rise up after emotional gaps" - Nguyen Tran added.
Working in one of the most competitive music markets in the world - in the US, musician Nguyen Tran chose an independent and persistent path. As the son of Tran Tuan Hung, leader of Buc Tuong band, Nguyen Tran does not rely on existing legacy, but builds his own musical language, combining Eastern introspection with modern Pop Rock/Alternative.
The EP production process mostly takes place in a small studio space, where he takes on many stages from composing, production to mixing. "Being an independent artist means there are not many safe zones. But that is what forces me to be honest with my emotions. I don't set goals for each product, just want to tell a story that is true enough so that those who have gone through the emotional winter can see themselves in it" - the young musician affirmed.
The "Sping Mua Dong Oi" project is implemented by We One Entertainment with professional support from musician Hung Blackhearted, released on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube and global digital music platforms.
