* Recently, the song "Say a life for you" has been widely shared. It is noteworthy that this work was composed by Ken Quach and HuongMyBong but has 10% support from AI and the first part is sung by AI voice. What do you think about some of today's songs being composed and sung by AI?
- I haven't listened to that song yet so it's not convenient to comment. But about AI composing or singing, I think that is each person's choice and career perspective. As long as there are no violations of the law, people can completely use AI to support their work.
- In your opinion, can AI-composed music be considered a true work of art or just a technological product?
- I think that what AI creates should only be considered a technological product, not a work of art. Because AI is essentially a system that collects, analyzes and synthesizes data from countless different sources to produce results according to user requirements. It's like a logical processing tool.
Meanwhile, art requires creativity and vibration - illogical elements that AI cannot have. Therefore, the results of AI cannot be compared to works of art formed from human emotions and imagination.

* What opportunities and challenges does AI's participation in composition and singing open up for Vietnamese music?
- AI will be a great opportunity for new musicians to enter the profession, as it brings an almost endless treasure trove of knowledge for reference, learning and discovery. However, AI also poses many challenges, especially for beginners. Because in addition to having to assert themselves, they also have to compete with many works created from AI, as well as with artists who previously did not make music but now can use AI to compose.
* If you can combine it with AI in the process of composition/ harmony/recording, are you willing to experiment?
- I have experimented and found that AI has not yet met my expectations. It only stops at compiling information, creating demo versions for reference, helping to watch and listen for fun to visualize the process, but cannot replace or fully meet the needs of music creation.
* What do you worry about most when AI enters the field of composition and singing?
- I'm not worried about anything. As analyzed, AI can write a paragraph or a song, but it is a product of Logic - where the standard lies in the analysis and synthesis of data.
Meanwhile, artistic creation takes emotions, creativity and unique perspectives from each person's Bao Quan as a measure.
Therefore, there is always a clear difference between logical and illogical and I believe AI cannot replace humans in this field.
AI can now only analyze the singer's voice and create entertaining, fun-listening products. But for artists who sing with real emotions, handling each word delicately, that is something that AI cannot copy.
* Is there a risk that audiences will gradually be indifferent to real artists when AI can create virtual singers with perfect voice and image?
- If AI can create virtual singers with perfect voice and image, real artists will have to face competitive pressure not only from colleagues but also from technology itself.
The indifference of the audience in the early stages is also understandable. Because just like when sitting at a table with many new dishes, they will be immediately attracted to something new.
But in the long run, what is the "mental food" that truly nourishes the soul that only time will tell the answer.
