“To win this award, in addition to my daily training efforts, I am really lucky to always have Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tan Nhan accompanying and guiding me very enthusiastically. She not only helps me edit techniques but also orients how to handle music more deeply and professionally.
Her guidance is an important foundation to help me be more confident and steadfast when entering the competition. Besides, I also received a lot of support, advice and encouragement from close brothers, sisters, and teachers around me throughout the preparation process" - Duong Ngoc Anh said.

Success at the competition has shown the continuous efforts to "go to the big sea" of generations of students of the Vietnam National Academy of Music. However, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Meritorious Artist Tan Nhan - Head of the Vocal Department of the Vietnam National Academy of Music assessed that, although students have won high prizes, the overall results this time are still not really as expected and the set goals.
Even so, I am still proud and honored of my students as well as the students in the Vocal Faculty who performed excellently at the competition, surpassing the large number of contestants from other countries. They are very talented and strive to bring glory to the country. The moment of hearing the two words Vietnam being announced on the stage of a major music competition like Kyushu Music Competition was truly touching and happy.
I hope that with the initial successes in this artistic journey, you will constantly strive harder to become true artists in the field of classical chamber music of Vietnam, stand shoulder to shoulder with international friends, and approach world academic music" - Assoc. Prof. Dr. Meritorious Artist Tan Nhan expressed.
