Thousands of Cows in Lâm Đồng Contract Mysterious Disease, Cause Unknown
In Lâm Đồng province, approximately 3,670 cows have contracted a mysterious disease, with 68 dairy cows experiencing abnormal diarrhea and death.
On August 8, the Lâm Đồng People's Committee submitted a report to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development regarding the dairy cow disease outbreak in the districts of Đơn Dương and Đức Trọng. The committee requested the ministry to direct the Department of Animal Health and relevant agencies to assist the local authorities in identifying the cause of the disease as soon as possible.

Current State of Bãi Sau before the commencement of the VND 1,094 billion project
Recently, the Bãi Sau area has been rapidly cleared and demolished to prepare for the implementation of the VND 1,094 billion urban renewal project. The project was officially launched on July 29.
Along the 1.5 km stretch of Thùy Vân Street, dozens of excavators are being deployed to demolish solid structures and clear the area.

North Region Experiences Severe Heat before Welcoming Heavy Rainfall
From August 8, the heat in the North and Central regions has increased.
In the Eastern part of the North, Nam Sơn La and Hòa Bình experienced severe heat on August 8, with temperatures reaching 35-37°C in some areas and above 37°C in others. The relative humidity was low, ranging from 55-60%. The heat in the North is expected to persist until around August 10. From around August 10, the North is expected to experience rain showers and isolated thunderstorms, with some areas experiencing heavy rainfall.
