On April 2nd, Van Tuong Commune People's Committee said that the Department of Agriculture and Environment had just coordinated with Van Tuong Commune People's Committee to organize the release of seedlings to regenerate aquatic resources at Bau Ca Cai, Thuan Phuoc village, Van Tuong commune.

On this occasion, more than 1 million tiger shrimp seeds and 18,000 blue crab seeds were released into Bau Ca Cai to restore the local ecosystem and aquatic resources.
The release of seedlings not only supplements natural aquatic resources but also raises community awareness about environmental protection. Through this, functional agencies call on people, especially fishing households, to comply with regulations, not to fish in the seedling release area in the early stages, and at the same time stop forms of destructive exploitation such as using electric shock and small-eye nets.
Bau Ca Cai is located in Van Tuong commune, more than 40 km northeast of Quang Ngai province center. With an area of about 200 hectares, this is the largest mangrove forest in the province. The name Bau Ca Cai evokes the image of a "mother's water basin" - shaped like a mother's arms embracing and sheltering her children, and also a breeding and shelter for coastal aquatic species.
