From the beach to residential areas, spreading volunteer spirit
In the early days of March, at border posts and stations in Quang Ngai province, the atmosphere of emulation in response to the Youth Month took place sôi nổi with many rich and practical activities. The pioneering and voluntary spirit of border guard youth is expressed through specific actions, associated with the political tasks of each agency and unit and the actual needs of the locality where they are stationed.
At Dung Quat Port Border Guard Station, the launching ceremony of Youth Month 2026 was held in a joyful atmosphere, attracting a large number of union members and youth to participate. Immediately after the launching ceremony, young officers and soldiers of the unit coordinated with union members and youth of Van Tuong commune and forces stationed in the area to plant 35 square banyan trees; clean up the beach area of An Cuong village.
Not only stopping at youth projects and tasks, community-oriented activities are also actively implemented by border guard units. In many border areas, union members and border guard youth have participated in supporting localities to clean up cultural houses and community activity points; coordinate legal propaganda, raise people's awareness of protecting border sovereignty and maintaining security and order.
At Sa Thay Border Guard Station, the "Border Guard Loudspeaker" model is being maintained regularly by the youth of the unit. Through mobile loudspeakers, officers, union members, and youth of the unit go to each residential area to propagate to people about the guidelines and policies of the Party and the State.
This year's Youth Month, the provincial border guard youth participated in building new rural areas; supporting people in border and island areas to develop the economy and improve their lives. Organizing volunteer activities for the community, taking care of social security; visiting and giving gifts to policy families and students in difficult circumstances in border areas. Maintaining and promoting the effectiveness of models and programs such as: "Raising Steps for Children to School - Foster Children of Border Guard Stations", "Green-uniformed Teachers", "Green-uniformed Doctors", "Border Guard Loudspeakers", "Let's Clean the Sea"...
At the same time, promote coordination activities with localities in legal propaganda, environmental protection, and maintaining security and order; organize key activities and exchanges on the occasion of the Youth Union's Anniversary on March 26.
Linking the task of protecting sovereignty with actions for the people
Captain Hoang Dan - Assistant for Mass Mobilization of the Provincial Border Guard Command said that this year's Youth Month is implemented with many innovative contents, closely following the political tasks of the force. The activities are organized in a practical and effective direction, linking the youth movement with the tasks of each agency and unit. Thereby, promoting the pioneering and creative spirit of border guard youth in performing the task of managing and protecting sovereignty, border security and participating in socio-economic development in the locality.
Through the Youth Month and "Border March" activities, union members and youth of the Provincial Border Guard have more opportunities to train, contribute and grow up. This is also an opportunity for border guard youth to promote the glorious tradition of the force, contributing to building the image of soldiers in green uniforms who are close and responsible in the hearts of people in border areas.
From specific and practical actions, Youth Month 2026 is spreading strongly throughout the Provincial Border Guard force. That vibrant emulation atmosphere not only contributes to building a strong unit but also emphasizes the image of border guard youth who are always on the front line, volunteering for the peace and development of the homeland border region.
