At these landslides, the amount of soil and rock sliding down the road was very large at hundreds of cubic meters, so it took a long time to clear and clear. The remaining points are mainly fallen forest trees, so it does not take much time to recover, said Mr. Nhuan.

Focus on speeding up the early traffic opening process
This afternoon, speaking with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, the leader of Thanh Nam Construction Joint Stock Company 886 (Lam Dong Department of Construction) said that after many efforts, the unit had reached a large-scale landslide site at Km52. Currently, the unit is coordinating with the police and militia forces of Son Dien commune to focus on clearing the scene at this landslide site.

"From this morning, December 6, the dry weather has been favorable, so we are focusing on speeding up the progress of clearing the landslide scene on Gia Bac Pass. We have mobilized 3 excavators, 1 overturner and many dump trucks to take on the task of clearing landslides with soil and rocks. The police and militia forces of Son Dien commune are responsible for handling fallen forest trees, said Mr. Duong Quoc Trung, Deputy Director of Thanh Nam 886 Company.

Present to participate in overcoming landslides on Gia Bac Pass, Mr. Ho Huu Ha, an officer of Thanh Nam 886 Company, said that the weather is sunny, so the landslide overcoming work is finding many advantages, so the unit is focusing on speeding up the progress.

"The biggest difficulty is that there are still many landslides, with large volumes of soil and rock. At some landslides with many large rocks, excavators and excavators had to be used and it took a long time to move. At the current speed, if it does not rain, we will try our best to be able to open the Gia Bac Pass by tomorrow afternoon, December 7," said Mr. Ha.

According to the Chairman of the People's Committee of Son Dien commune, in addition to the landslides on the positive slope that needed to clear the scene, on Gia Bac pass, there is a landslide on the negative slope that has eaten deep into the roadbed. Below this landslide is a ravine tens of meters deep, which is very dangerous.

"After completing the site clearance work, the locality will report to relevant departments and branches to advise Lam Dong provincial leaders to direct the opening of Gia Bac Pass. The opening of the route must ensure absolute safety for people and vehicles traveling through it," said Mr. Nhuan.
