The agreement aims to improve the competitiveness and position of Kim Long brand car lines in the Vietnamese market as well as Southeast Asia.
According to the cooperation content, Kim Long Motor will promote its strengths in domestic production capacity, distribution system and understanding of the domestic market.
AOJ Suzhou takes on the role of providing technology platforms, product development solutions, integrating supply chains and international deployment experience. AOJ Suzhou will provide comprehensive support from product planning, design, technical development, supply chain building, testing to mass production support.
The two sides will coordinate to develop commercial vehicle lines such as buses, vans, trucks, and at the same time research the structure of the all-aluminum body passenger car platform. This cooperation is expected to shorten the time to bring products to market, optimize costs and improve investment efficiency.
In parallel, the two enterprises will coordinate to build component supply chains, promote localization and ensure stable production activities in Vietnam. The two sides also establish strategic coordination mechanisms in market development, product promotion and business scale expansion.
In the long-term orientation, Kim Long Motor and AOJ Suzhou plan to establish the AOJ Technical Center in Vietnam, towards building a Joint Research and Development Institute. This will be an important foundation to improve technology content, develop localized products and train technical human resources for the automotive industry.
The strategic handshake between the two enterprises is expected to contribute to increasing the localization rate, gradually improving the autonomy of Vietnam's automobile industry in producing high-quality car lines.
