According to the agreement, the two sides agreed to coordinate in developing and expanding the distribution system of commercial vehicles manufactured by Kim Long Motor in Vietnam as well as in the countries where Viettel Group invests.
In the domestic market, Viettel Post will take advantage of the customer ecosystem to distribute Kim Long Motor's car lines to units within the group, existing customers and businesses operating in the fields of logistics and e-commerce.
In the international market, the two sides coordinate to export Kim Long Motor products through Viettel's network abroad, gradually expanding the market for the Vietnamese car brand.
The two businesses also cooperate in building a distribution system for components, spare parts and replacement materials through Viettel Post's post office network and logistics center nationwide, contributing to improving after-sales service quality and shortening supply time.
In the field of green transportation, Kim Long Motor and Viettel Post will research and invest in charging stations and battery exchange stations for electric vehicles. Promote the development of the vehicle fleet in the Viettel Post ecosystem, initially piloting the Kim Long brand electric van and truck line in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City before expanding nationwide.
The two sides also expanded cooperation in the fields of logistics and supply chains, from delivery, transportation, import and export, raw material supply to developing a system of distribution and retail warehouses for Kim Long Motor products nationwide.
Mr. Dao Viet Anh - General Director of Kim Long Motor, said that cooperation with Viettel Post will help businesses expand their distribution system, develop a smart transportation ecosystem associated with technology and logistics, thereby improving the competitiveness of Kim Long commercial vehicles in the international market.
Colonel Phung Van Cuong - General Director of Viettel Post, assessed that the cooperation will contribute to improving operational capacity, diversifying the logistics ecosystem and promoting the application of new means of transport, especially electric vehicles, towards sustainable development goals.
