On July 18, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Binh Thanh, Binh Quoi, Thanh My Tay, Binh Loi Trung and Gia Dinh wards coordinated to organize a meeting with voters with the City People's Council (PC) Delegation (unit No. 14) before the 2nd session of the 10th term of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council.
At the conference, there were a total of 26 voters' opinions. Of which, 15 opinions were sent to the Delegation and 11 opinions were given in person. The contents focus on issues of public concern such as environmental sanitation, traffic safety, administrative reform, the operation of two-level governments, social insurance, health, support for private economic development and progress of key projects in the area.

Concluding the conference, Mr. Vu Ngoc Tuat - Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of Binh Thanh Ward People's Council - representative of the City People's Council Delegation acknowledged and highly appreciated the sense of responsibility, close attention and frank recommendations of voters. These are valuable opinions, demonstrating the companionship of the people in the process of building and developing the city.
The City People's Council delegation will receive, fully synthesize and forward to the competent authorities. At the same time, supervise the process of resolving issues under its authority.
Mr. Vu Ngoc Tuat also shared some current difficulties in the process of implementing tasks at the grassroots level. Many officials still have old thinking, not keeping up with the requirements of innovation and rapid change of the modern administrative apparatus. The facilities of the wards are still lacking, the working space and citizen reception are still limited, causing difficulties in receiving and processing the needs and records of the people.
In particular, the scope of management of Ho Chi Minh City has now expanded to merge the old Binh Duong and Ba Ria - Vung Tau provinces. Therefore, a large number of cadres from these localities have to travel to Ho Chi Minh City every day to work, causing significant pressure on traffic infrastructure, travel conditions and management and operation.
Faced with that reality, Ho Chi Minh City has been implementing a review of surplus land funds to have a plan to build public housing, creating more favorable conditions for staff working far away.

For the Chu Van An road expansion project - one of the key traffic routes in the area, the City leaders are focusing on directing and determined to complete it in 2025.
With the project of dredging, improving the environment, and building infrastructure for Xuyen Tam canal that has been waiting for many years, the city is now determined to remove obstacles, speed up progress to soon hand over the remaining site, contributing to improving the living environment and urban infrastructure for the area.
