On the morning of July 17, the Admissions Council of the University of Technology, Vietnam National University, Hanoi announced the 2025 admission floor threshold according to the 2025 high school graduation exam scores as follows:
Computer and Information Technology, AI majors: 24 points
Other majors: 22 points.
In 2025, the University of Technology will enroll students according to 4 methods: Direct admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training; Admission according to the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam; Admission according to the results of the competency assessment test organized by Hanoi National University (HSA); Admission according to the results of the SAT international standardized exam (Scholastic Assessment Test).
With the method of considering high school graduation exam scores, the school uses the combinations A00 (Math, Physics, Chemistry), A01 (Math, Physics, English), X26 (Math, English, English, English), X06 (Math, English, English, English, English, English, Math coefficient 2) for all majors.
For the Agricultural Technology; Biotechnology major, candidates can use the B00 group (Math, Chemistry, Biology).
Candidates with an international English certificate (I IELTS Academic or TOEFL iBT) with a validity period of 2 years from the exam date will be converted to English subject scores for use in the admission combination, according to the regulations in the following conversion table:
With the admission method based on the competency assessment test score, the school applies to candidates whose HSA exam results are valid for 2 years from the date of application and reach the entrance threshold prescribed by the school for each training major. Applicable to all majors in 2025.
The SAT admission method is applied to candidates whose SAT international standard exam results are valid for 2 years from the exam date, and meet the entrance quality guarantee threshold prescribed by the University of Technology for each major.
These two methods apply to all of the school's 2025 enrollment majors.
