Promoting Tet care for people
On January 31, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Ho Chi Minh City coordinated with socio-political organizations and units to organize the Solidarity Spring Festival - Tet of Gratitude and the opening of the 0-dong Mini Supermarket - Binh Ngo Tet 2026 at Dam Sen Cultural Park (Binh Thoi ward).

Speaking at the program, Ms. Truong Thi Bich Hanh - Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City said that the Tet Nguyen Dan 2026 care activities are focused, substantive, and comprehensively implemented by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City and socio-political organizations of the City with a total budget of more than 5,900 billion VND. This is the most vivid proof of the tradition of affection of the city's people.
Ms. Truong Thi Bich Hanh emphasized that today's Spring Solidarity Festival - Tet of Gratitude is organized with many practical contents, contributing to caring for people every Tet holiday.
The Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City has mobilized units and businesses to join hands to support funding for the Spring Shelter program. During the 2026 Lunar New Year, about 140 households will be supported with funds to build and repair Great Solidarity houses.

On the same evening, the art program City of Affection - Connecting Love will take place. This art program combines mobilization, reception and gratitude to organizations, businesses, and individuals to support funds to contribute to caring for and improving the material and spiritual life of households in the city, frontline forces and soldiers and people in border and island areas.
The festival is expected to attract about 10,000 delegates, union members, association members and people.
