On the afternoon of January 26, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City organized a conference to inform about the organization of the Spring Solidarity Festival - Tet of Gratitude in Ho Chi Minh City - Binh Ngo Tet 2026.
The festival takes place on January 29 at Dam Sen Cultural Park (Binh Thoi ward). This is a program to practically care for the people of the city, and at the same time, continue to spread the tradition of solidarity - affection - compassion of Ho Chi Minh City during the traditional Tet holiday.
At the conference, Ms. Truong Thi Bich Hanh - Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City said that taking care of Tet for people is an annual activity. This has become a communication and cultural feature of Vietnam. One of the cares that is concerned every year is taking care of Tet, ensuring that no citizen does not have Tet.
The Spring Solidarity Festival - Tet of Gratitude in Ho Chi Minh City - Binh Ngo Tet 2026 is organized on a city-level scale, with the participation of about 10,000 delegates, union members, association members and people, taking place centrally in the same time, at the same location.
Typical spaces and activities include the opening space - connecting great solidarity with the 0 VND mini supermarket program - Binh Ngo Tet 2026; thematic space with many Tet gift-giving activities, cultural exchanges, traditional activities imbued with the atmosphere of Spring and affection; cultural - artistic space - connecting social resources, organizing the art program City of affection - Connecting love.
In particular, the Spring Solidarity Festival - Tet of Gratitude on the occasion of Binh Ngo Tet 2026 is organized simultaneously in 168 residential areas and many expansion points, attracting more than 200,000 participants with rich activities such as decorating street corners on Tet, wrapping banh chung, banh tet, spring flower festival, culture - arts, meaningful meals, planting trees, and environmental protection.
In addition, Ho Chi Minh City organizes the Tet Street Corner - Binh Ngo Spring 2026 contest to spread the spirit of solidarity, build a green - clean - beautiful Tet space, and preserve the beauty of traditional culture. It is expected that the whole city will implement about 10,000 Tet Street Corners during Tet 2026.

Regarding the Spring Solidarity - Tet of Gratitude program in boarding houses, the unit has directed to link trade union activities with the lives of workers by organizing meals in boarding houses, banh chung and banh tet making contests to give gifts to workers staying during Tet. At the same time, coordinate with boarding house owners and local authorities to mobilize and organize year-end meals in boarding houses with many workers who do not return to their hometowns during Tet.
