Updated bulletin issued at 3:30 PM from the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, in the past 24 hours (from 3:00 PM on July 18 to 3:00 PM on July 19), the area of Lai Chau, Lao Cai, Tuyen Quang and Cao Bang provinces had moderate to heavy rain, with very heavy rain in some places such as Nam Xe 75.4mm (Lai Chau); Nan San 94mm (Lao Cai); Thuong Son 141.8mm (Tuyen Quang); Vinh Quang 95mm (Cao Bang);...

The soil moisture model shows that some areas in the above provinces have been near saturation (over 85%) or reached saturation status.

Warning in the next 3-6 hours, the above provinces will continue to have rain with accumulated rainfall commonly from 10 - 20mm, in some places over 60mm.
