Updated bulletin issued at 4:45 PM on April 27 from the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, through monitoring on satellite cloud images, lightning positioning images and weather radar images, it shows that convective clouds are existing and developing in the Vat Lai and Bat Bat areas.This convective cloud area is moving and expanding to the inner city of Hanoi.
In the next 1 to 3 hours, this cloud area will continue to cause showers and thunderstorms for the above area, then will spread to other wards/communes in the inner city of Hanoi.The meteorological agency warns that in thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.The level of natural disaster risk due to tornadoes, lightning, hail is level 1.
Previously, at 4:38 pm on the same day, the meteorological agency also issued a rain warning in the offshore sea area of Quang Ninh province.
Accordingly, monitoring on satellite cloud images, lightning positioning images and weather radar images shows that convective clouds are existing and developing in the northern sea off the coast of Quang Ninh province.
In the next 1-4 hours, these convective cloud dens will continue to develop and expand, causing showers and thunderstorms in the above-mentioned sea area. In thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes and strong gusts of wind. The Provincial Hydrometeorological Station will continue to monitor and warn about upcoming developments.
