The Northern region in the period from the night of June 28 - June 30 is likely to experience a period of moderate rain, with heavy rain in some places over a wide area. Rain is concentrated at night and in the morning. Rain is concentrated in Thai Nguyen, Cao Bang, Tuyen Quang, Lao Cai, Lai Chau, Dien Bien, Son La, Phu Tho provinces.
Total rainfall from 70 - 150mm, but there will be localized heavy rain points over 300mm.
In the period from July 1st to July 5th, it is forecast to have thunderstorms overnight and in the morning, with common rainfall from 50 - 100mm/period; locally over 250mm.
Lang Son, Cao Bang, Thai Nguyen, Tuyen Quang, Lao Cai, Lai Chau, Dien Bien, Son La, Phu Tho provinces in the coming days need to be wary of the risk of flash floods and landslides in mountainous areas.
The Central region in the period from June 29 - June 30 with provinces from Nghe An to Da Nang city, the east of Quang Ngai, Gia Lai, Dak Lak provinces will continue to have hot weather with high temperatures of 36 - 38 degrees C. From July 1 - July 5, hot weather will decrease.
The Central Highlands and Southern regions in the period from June 28 - July 5 are affected by strong southwest monsoons, so there will be rain, moderate rain, and heavy rain and thunderstorms in some places.
