According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the activity of intensified easterly cold air affects sea weather. Currently, Huyen Tran station has strong northeast winds at level 6.
On March 13th day and night, the North East Sea (including the Hoang Sa special zone) will have winds of level 6 - 7, gusts of level 8 - 9, strong rough seas; sea waves 3 - 5m high; northeast direction.
The sea area from southern Quang Tri to Ca Mau and the west of the South East Sea area (including the west of Truong Sa special zone) has wind level 6, gusts level 7 - 8, rough seas; waves 2 - 4m high.
The sea area east of the northern Gulf of Tonkin and the central area of the East Sea has wind level 5, sometimes level 6, gusts level 7 - 8, rough seas; waves are 2 - 4m high.
On March 14, day and night, the North East Sea area (including the Hoang Sa special zone) will have strong northeast winds of level 6, eastern at times level 7, gusts of level 8 - 9, strong sea waves; sea waves 3 - 5m high.
The area between the East Sea and the sea area from southern Quang Tri to Dak Lak has strong northeast winds of level 5, sometimes level 6, gusts of level 7 - 8, rough seas; waves 2 - 4m high.
The sea area from Khanh Hoa to Ca Mau and the sea area west of the South East Sea (including the western Truong Sa special zone) have strong northeast winds of level 6, gusts of level 7 - 8, rough seas; waves are about 2 - 4m high.
The meteorological agency warns that the level of natural disaster risk at sea is level 2. All ships operating in the above areas are at high risk of being affected by strong winds and large waves.
