Sir, the temperature in the North and Central regions has been quite high these past few days. Do you think the weather will change during the upcoming holidays?
- From August 31 to September 3, the weather across the country will have many forms of impact. Northern provinces on August 31 will have a period of showers and thunderstorms, however the thunderstorms will quickly decrease.
From September 1 to 3, rain will decrease and the weather will be generally sunny, but there will be hot weather in the afternoon and evening.
As for the Central region, the weather is different between the north and south of Hai Van Pass. In the north from Thanh Hoa to Thua Thien Hue, the weather is generally clear, with thunderstorms in some places in the late afternoon and hot during the day.
The area from Da Nang to Binh Thuan is clear, with showers and thunderstorms in the evening.
The Central Highlands and the South have often had showers and thunderstorms in the late afternoons over the past few days. What is the weather forecast for these areas during the holiday, sir?
- The Central Highlands and the South will have thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening during all 4 days of the holiday, with heavy rain in some places. The temperature in the Central Highlands will generally range from 28 - 31 degrees Celsius, while the temperature in the South will range from 30 - 33 degrees Celsius.
With such weather conditions, do you have any advice for people during the upcoming holiday?
- Bad weather in the Central Highlands and South Central regions, people need to pay attention to flash floods and landslides. In the Southern region, people need to be alert to urban flooding.
Regarding sea weather, during the holiday, the sea area from Ninh Thuan to Ca Mau and the eastern part of the South China Sea (including the sea area east of Truong Sa archipelago) needs to be alert for tornadoes and strong gusts of wind.
