Forecast for the next 24 to 48 hours
The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that in the next 24 to 48 hours, the North will have sunny weather during the day; while the South will have very heavy rain in some places.
Northern region and Thanh Hoa have rain in some places, early morning there is scattered light fog, sunny day.
From Nghe An to Quang Binh, there will be showers and thunderstorms in some places.
The area from Quang Tri to Khanh Hoa will have scattered showers and thunderstorms. From October 14, the above area will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally with moderate to heavy rain.
Other areas have scattered showers and thunderstorms, sunny days; in the Southern Central Highlands and the South, there will be rain in the afternoon and evening, moderate rain and scattered thunderstorms, locally heavy to very heavy rain. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.

The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting has made comments on notable weather trends in some areas from the night of October 14 to October 22.
In the Northern and North Central regions from October 15 to October 22, it is forecasted that there will be rain in some places, scattered light fog in the early morning, and sunny weather in the afternoon. In the mountainous and midland regions of the North from about October 14 to 16, there is a possibility of scattered showers and thunderstorms.
In the Central Central region, during the above period, it is forecasted that there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms in some places; especially on the night of October 14-15, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, with heavy rain in some places.
In the South Central, Central Highlands and Southern regions from October 15 to October 22, scattered showers and thunderstorms are forecasted in the late afternoon and evening, with some places having heavy rain. Thunderstorms are likely to cause tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.
