Police rescue 2nd grade student trapped in wall crevice in Ninh Binh

Ninh Binh - A 2nd grade student trapped in a narrow wall gap at Pham Hong Thai Elementary School has been safely rescued.

At about 9:40 am on September 10, Command Information Center 114, Ninh Binh Provincial Police received a report requesting rescue support for a 2nd grade male student trapped in a narrow wall gap at Pham Hong Thai Elementary School (Nam Dinh ward, Ninh Binh province).

Immediately after receiving the information, the unit urgently dispatched rescue vehicles and 10 officers and soldiers to the scene.

At the scene, the student was trapped in a narrow wall gap, psychologically panicked.

Faced with this situation, the Fire and Rescue Police force (PCCC and CNCH) quickly surveyed and assessed the scene, choosing the option of using specialized pillows to create space. At the same time, the rescue force deployed drilling and concrete drilling equipment, gradually expanding the space at the location where the child was trapped.

Throughout the rescue process, the task force regularly encouraged, reassured, and guided the child to remain calm; and at the same time used lubricants and appropriate shields to reduce friction, limit the risk of injury, and ensure the highest safety for the child during the process of being taken out.

At about 10:20 am on the same day, the Fire and Rescue Police force brought the student out safely, handing him over to the school and family.
